Skin care products I can’t wait to try
There are a few products that have hit the market that seem to directly address some common South Asian skin care concerns. I haven’t yet tried them out, but I plan to soon and I’ll share back my experience!
Ranavat Brightening Saffron Serum- This product even LOOKS incredible. Ranavat products were designed by the founder, Michelle Ranavat, who is an engineer by training and you can tell deeply cares about what she is putting out into the world. This particular award winning product is targeted at brightening skin and reducing the appearance of lines. Ranavat products are available online and at Sephora.
Aavrani Turmeric Exfoliator- My mom and I used to do haldi masks all the time growing up, and her skin was incredible. We would just use haldi, water, and lemon juice to mix into a slight paste, apply to our faces, and then let dry. You could feel it tightening and working and then, while scrubbing off, definitely lightly exfoliating. However, haldi can be so messy! I’m excited to try this Aavrani product to see if it carries the same benefits while being less messy.
LiveTinted SuperHue- All of the LiveTinted products look incredible. One that I’m most excited to test out is the SuperHue stick because with Indian skin comes hyperpigmentation. This stick targets reducing dark spots and hyperpigmentation while also adding radiance, which means I can apply it during the day!
Have you tried out any of these products? I’d love to hear from you!
